ACTRAV Symposium on Precarious Employment

The ILO Bureau for Workers’ Activities (ACTRAV) chose for its 2011 biannual Symposium the title “Policies and Regulations to Combat Precarious Work”. Taking as inspiration the global unrest the world is currently witnessing, the ACTRAV Symposium aspired to channel the voices of struggling workers and citizens whose working and living conditions have taken a sharp turn for the worst in these times of economic crisis and austerity measures.
